DOCJT has decided all coroners and deputies must complete the following training for the year 2020.
The in-service training for 2020 will consist of 3 hours of online courses.
They will consist of 2 topics:
2 hours Ethics
1 hour Social Media
You will need to REGISTER on the ACADIS PORTAL as you would for any other in-service class.
Once you are accepted you will receive a link to sign into the training. You will have 4 days to take the class. You do not have to complete all 3 hours at one time. You can log off at any time and log back in to finish. Once you log off DO NOT go back into the Acadis system and sign up again.
There will be technical support during regular business hours 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. A number will be given to you should you need help with anything.
Multiple people cannot use the same computer to take the class. You will have to log on from an individual computer using your email address. This is how you will be counted for the class.
Remember only sworn paid coroners and deputy coroners are allowed to take the class.
If you have any questions please contact Jimmy Pollard (502) 639-0005 or call DOCJT Admissions.

The Board of Directors for the Kentucky Coroners Association encourages you to sign up EARLY for the courses you are particularly interested in. Remember, waiting too close to the start date may cause the course to be CANCELED due to low enrollment, and waiting too late in the year to register can cause a course to be CLOSED to new registrants due to reaching its maximum capacity.
